 International Roaming for CDMA2000 Networks

Technical background in wireless communications

Audience:
Administrative, business, technical staff, managers and decision makers interested in a comprehensive understanding of voice and data roaming.  Technical and business personnel responsible for the deployment and implementation of roaming. Also, personnel responsible for the operations, customer care, sales and marketing for roaming would strongly benefit.

Course Description: 
This course takes an in-depth look at roaming between network operators both inbound and outbound.  The fundamentals of business elements and technical elements related to roaming are covered.  The business elements of roaming agreements, roaming business case, marketing, promotions and customer care for roaming are reviewed. The technical elements of provisioning, operations, network acquisition and implementation are reviewed. Also, a brief introduction of Roaming service providers and inter-technology roaming is presented with an emphasis on GSM and CDMA roaming. Several real world scenarios are presented to illustrate these concepts along with a roaming implementation process overview.
