CDMA principles for engineers

This course is intended for telecommunications engineers and operators who are interested in understanding and improving network performance

The performance of a CDMA network is characterized by key performance indicators such as voice quality, how quickly and reliably calls can be originated and terminated. Operators can use this knowledge not only to effectively understand various factors that influence network performance but also to improve it. This workshop provides a comprehensive approach to optimization, including characterization, measurement, and analysis and tuning of various network parameters in CDMA 1x voice networks. It also provides an overview of 1x network performance assessment tools and overhead signaling and call processing. This interactive, hands-on workshop uses log files to present examples and scenarios that provide an analysis and identification of 1x failure.
