 Preferred Roaming List (PRL) Technical Workshop

12 hours (1.5 days)

Prerequisites:
Technical background in wireless telecommunications and some experience with PRLs.


Audience:
Technical personnel responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of Preferred Roaming Lists (PRLs) in CDMA networks.

Course Description: 
This course takes an in-depth look at the use, development, testing, and maintenance of PRLs.  Students will be taught both the theory and “best practices” for designing PRLs.  The course addresses PRLs for both voice and packet data (including both 1X and EV-DO services).  Real world scenarios are presented to illustrate these concepts.  PRL test tools will be demonstrated.
