Course Description:
The goal of this course is to improve or develop the student’s following set of skills:
1. How to extract performance statistics from available network performance data
2. To Identify possible causes of network performance problems or deficiencies.
3. To identify potential solutions to improve network performance. This course will provide the student a review of the CDMA2000 network and key parameters, understand the network planning issues, and discuss the air interface and network verification and optimization. This class will also provide the student with practical experience by looking at some example performance test data, log files, and resulting case studies that the students will analyze, review and discuss. After the student has taken this course they will have the knowledge to enable them review their own network and make recommendations to improve its performance. Material presented in this workshop will provide the student with a working knowledge of what activities are performed during typical systems testing and periodic system audits.
